The Royal Institute for Executive Training - IRFC is organizing the International Congress on Sports Science and Performance, under the theme « Research, Practice, and Challenges ». True to its mission of training, research, and expertise in the fields of sports, youth, and childhood, the IRFC is making this scientific event a strategic lever for performance and innovation. Backed by a degree program fully integrated into the Bachelor's-Master's-Doctorate (LMD) system, this conference creates a unique synergy between excellence in education, applied research, and real-world practice. This conference goes beyond the scope of a simple academic symposium: it serves as a unique platform for knowledge transfer, where researchers, coaches, strength and conditioning specialists, performance analysts, and professionals in health and sports management come together. It has three main objectives: (1) to promote interdisciplinarity by integrating physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, and exercise science to foster a holistic approach to performance; (2) to drive innovation by promoting technological advancements—artificial intelligence, big data, and connected sensors—to optimize training loads, personalize athlete monitoring, and prevent injuries; (3) establish an international collaboration network to harmonize training strategies, build the capacity of African leaders, and support sustainable, ethical, and inclusive performance. Centered around eight key areas—from physiological and nutritional foundations to governance and sports marketing, including talent identification and training periodization—this conference, to be held on June 29 and 30, 2026, will feature lectures, workshops, and experience-sharing sessions. It embodies the IRFC's commitment to training, through research and practice, the experts and managers who will promote Moroccan and African sports by 2030.
